Community Radio’s Resource Catalogue
Use this online catalogue to find useful tools, ask questions about resources and share your knowledge with others who make radio. The catalogue is interactive so you can ask questions about each resource, tell us what you want, or what you’ve got…
.
Click on a category above to see resources we’ve already catalogued:
Click the ‘Add a Comment’ link at the bottom of a resource to ask a question about it, or give your opinion if you already use it.
Submit the form on the sidebar if you’ve got or want something not listed:
If you’ve already got something useful please submit a simple description. We’ll research the resource and add it to the catalogue. If you want something that’s not listed in the catalogue simply list the features you’re looking for and we may be able to hook you up with something useful, and we’ll add it to the catalogue.
Why should you bother adding comments?
|
If you tell us ‘what you want’ we will search for the answers and and let you know. If you tell us ‘what you’ve got’ you’ll greatly assist other stations and the Australian community radio sector to establish what resources are most valued in the sector. Also if you tell us this stuff we are able to report this to various sector projects, organisations and grant bodies to scope the development of new resources for the sector.
We know this process works because we ran a ‘resources’ project like this in 2008 and identified three new station resources and the stations were funded by the Community Broadcasting Foundation (CBF) to develop them!
So start clicking on categories now to explore resources for radio! |

You’ll be asked to put your email when you add a comment. This is so we can reply to your questions or comments via email if necessary, and to deter spammers from posting silly comments. Your email won’t be displayed on the web page and we won’t hassle you or give your email to anyone else unless you speficially ask us to. Honest! |
Who coordinates the catalogue?
|
Onto It Media and Triple R Melbourne are consulting with Australia’s community radio makers to discover what stations have got, what stations want, and what stations need. We’re adding our findings to this online catalogue so all community radio makers can share and discover resources for radio. - The ‘Resources For Radio’ project and catalogue is coordinated by Chris Johnson of ontoitmedia.com through Triple R Broadcasters Melbourne. Produced with the assistance of the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy through the Community Broadcasting Foundation.
